About TypeAuth
TypeAuth started as a solution to a common frustration: API gateways are unnecessarily complex, difficult to manage, and overwhelming to set up - even for the simplest use cases. What began as a tool to simplify API authentication has evolved into a comprehensive yet straightforward service trusted by developers worldwide to secure their applications without the traditional headaches of complex gateway configurations.
In today's digital landscape, existing API gateway solutions force developers to wade through complicated setups, dense documentation, and excessive features just to implement basic authentication. TypeAuth takes a different approach by providing type-safe authentication APIs, pre-built components, and streamlined workflows that integrate seamlessly with your TypeScript applications - no complex gateway configuration required.
About Us
¡Hola! I'm Pablo 👋
I created TypeAuth out of frustration with existing authentication solutions that weren't developer-friendly enough or lacked proper TypeScript support. What started as a side project in late 2023 has grown into my full-time focus.
My journey in tech has been deeply rooted in security and networking. Having worked as a Security Engineer at industry giants like Cloudflare and Rackspace, I've seen firsthand the challenges and complexities of authentication and security at scale. Throughout my career in the network and security space, I've consistently encountered teams struggling with gateway configurations that should have been simple.
After years of watching developers wrestle with complex gateway implementations, I decided to build the solution I believe every API deserves to have - one that's type-safe, developer-friendly, and secure by design, without the unnecessary complexity. TypeAuth is the culmination of my experience in security engineering and my passion for developer experience.
I personally handle all support tickets and feature requests. Your security challenges are my challenges - I'm committed to making authentication as seamless as possible for TypeScript developers.
Found a bug? Have a feature request? Want to discuss your auth implementation? I'm here to help and always eager to hear from the developer community.
